What is a Home Information Pack (HIP)?
A Home Information Pack (HIP) is a collection of legally required documents relating to a property. Due to recent legislation, it is now a requirement to have ordered a HIP prior to marketing a residential property for sale.

An Index of information contained within the pack A Statement of Sale containing basic information about the property Evidence of Title and a Title Plan An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Standard searches (inc local authority, land charge and water and drainage searches) A copy of the Lease (for leasehold properties only)
